Only 2 months, 3 weeks, and 6 days until Summer—but who’s counting? If you find yourself dreaming of the warmer months to come (same!), this frozen twist on a classic lemon bar recipe may be just the remedy you need! Get into a summer state of mind and indulge in this  Lemon Meringue Ice Cream Bar recipe to get you through this last stretch of winter.

Here’s what you’ll need:

Crust Ingredients:
  • 20  Vanilla Creme Sandwich Cookies, crushed  (about 2 cups)
  • 3 tablespoons butter melted
  • Juice and zest from 1 lemon
  • 4 1/2 – 5 cups Perry’s Lemon Meringue Pie Ice Cream, slightly softened
Crumble Topping Ingredients:
  • 12 Vanilla Creme Sandwich Cookies crushed
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • Zest and juice from 1 lemon

Recipe inspired by: Life Made Sweeter

Step 1: Prepare the crust

Start by preparing the bottom crust layer of your Lemon Meringue Pie Ice Cream Bars. Add the creme filled cookies into a bowl and crush into fine crumbs. Then, add in the melted butter, lemon juice, and lemon zest and mix until well combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of an 8×8 baking dish lined with parchment or wax paper and place it in the freezer to set for about 1 hour.

Step 2: Prepare the crumb topping

To prepare the topping, combine the ingredients for the crumble topping listed above (cookies, softened butter, and lemon juice and zest).  Mix gently with a fork or your hands to make pea-sized pieces that stick together. This mixture should be courser and chunkier than the crust! Set the topping aside in the fridge.

Step 3: Assemble the ice cream bars

Now for the best ingredient: Perry’s Lemon Meringue Pie ice cream! After the crust has set for about an hour, scoop around 2 cups of ice cream and spread evenly over the cookie crust. Next, place the pan in the freezer for about 10-20 minutes to harden slightly. Once slightly hardened, remove the cookie crumble topping from the fridge and sprinkle evenly over the top of the bars.

And now, we wait! Place your Lemon Meringue Pie ice cream bars in the freezer for 3-4 hours or overnight to allow the bars to fully form before serving.

Tip: Remove the ice cream from the freezer and let it sit for a few minutes to soften before spreading it onto the cookie crust to ensure an easier spread!

Step 4: Serve and enjoy

Once the ice cream bars have hardened enough, remove them from the freezer and allow them to sit out for about 5-10 minutes so the crust softens slightly. Then, cut into rectangles or squares and store the bars in the freezer until ready to serve.

Whether you’re already counting down the days until warmer weather or simply looking for a fun way to break up the winter blues, these Lemon Meringue Pie Ice Cream Bars are sure to hit the spot. The zesty lemon flavor, creamy ice cream, and crunchy cookie crust make these the perfect treat to keep your summer dreams alive all year long. So, go ahead, indulge, and enjoy a little taste of summer!

As we approach another month of this cold, icy winter, it’s only natural to reminisce on everything the warm summer months have to offer—like going to the fair! We don’t know about you, but when we find ourselves on the fairgrounds, we’re heading straight to all the delicious food. While some indulge in turkey legs, walking tacos, or fried mac ‘n cheese, we consider ourselves dessert-first kind of people; fried ice cream comes to mind! So, if you find yourself having a case of the winter blues, put yourself in a fair state-of-mind and try this easy fried ice cream casserole recipe.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 3 cups Corn Flakes cereal, crushed
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 9 cups Perry’s Vanilla Ice Cream
  • 4 cups Whipped Cream
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 12 maraschino cherries, with stem

Recipe inspired by: dinnerbydessert.com

Step 1: Prepare the coating

To get started, add the butter, cornflakes, and cinnamon to a small saucepan. Stir the cornflake mixture often, for about 6-8 minutes, or until the cornflakes are brown and crispy. Next, it’s time to sweeten things up by removing the mixture from the heat and stirring in the sugar. Then, add half the cornflakes to a 9×13 baking dish in an even layer. Now the coating is complete, and you’re ready to add the Good Stuff!

Step 2: Put the ice cream scooper to work

Now it’s time for the best ingredient: Perry’s Signature Vanilla ice cream! Grab your handy ice cream scooper and place the ice cream on top of the cornflake mixture. Then, use a knife or offset spatula to spread the ice cream evenly and top with the remaining cornflake mixture.

Pro tip: Let your ice cream rest on the counter for a bit before spooning it on. You’ll want the ice cream to be softer, maybe even a little melty, to help it spread easily.

Step 3: Freeze, top, and serve

Once all the preparation is complete, cover and freeze your fried ice cream casserole for a minimum of 4 hours. After that, you’re ready to top and serve! Cut your casserole into slices big or small (we won’t judge!) and top with whipped cream, honey, and a maraschino cherry.

And just like that, it’s as if you’re transported to a perfectly sunny and 75-degree day at the fair! While we can’t change the weather, we can do our best to make the winter a little more bearable. The next time you find yourself a little down during the remaining cold months, get a few friends or family members together and indulge in a slice (or two!) of this tasty and simple fried ice cream casserole recipe.

Between gift shopping and wrapping, cookie decorating, and creating magical holiday moments for you and your loved ones, how does one find the time to search for the perfect holiday dessert idea? Well, search no further because this Fireball Ice Cream Pie recipe is not only quick and easy but will ace your dessert duty assignment for all of your upcoming holiday parties.

Ice Cream Pie Ingredients:

Hot Fudge Ingredients:

  • ¾ cup of Sugar
  • ¼ cup of Butter
  • 2 oz. of Unsweet Bakers’ Chocolate
  • 2 Tbsp. of Corn Syrup
  • ¼ cup of Milk
  • 2 tsp. of Vanilla

How to make this recipe:

Step 1: Getting started.

To start this holiday recipe journey, you’ll need an extra indulgent pint of Perry’s Fireball Ice Cream and a chocolate cookie pie crust (we bought ours at the store, but feel free to make your own to add a touch of homemade pizzazz!). Then grab the ‘ol ice cream scooper and get to work!

Step 2: Prep the Pie.

Once you’ve scooped as much ice cream as you can fit, spread it evenly throughout the pie crust. Then, place your pie in the freezer while you complete the next step, giving it ample time to conform to your crust.

Step 3: Prepare your hot fudge.

Now it’s time to make your hot fudge! Combine the sugar, butter, chocolate, and corn syrup in a saucepan. Cook over medium to low heat stirring until blended. Add milk and bring to a simmer, stirring constantly until thickened. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. If you’re running low on time or prefer a specific kind, feel free to use a store-bought alternative and continue to the next step!

Step 4: Top it off.

Finally, the fun part! Line the perimeter of your pie with whipped cream and drizzle your hot fudge over the entire pie. Then, crush your peppermint candies and sprinkle them around to top off this delicious holiday treat.

And there you have it—in just a few simple steps you have a festive dessert that will leave your loved ones asking, “Can I have seconds?” Secure your rightful place on dessert duty for parties to come and try our Fireball Ice Cream Pie recipe this holiday season.

Cereal Ice Cream Balls

What do your favorite cereal and ice cream have in common? You can combine them to make an easy and delicious treat that takes your dessert game to another level. While we’re not saying this is a breakfast item (although, who are we to tell you what to do?), this recipe uses a classic breakfast favorite as one of its main ingredients. With just three ingredients and a few simple steps, you can enjoy a little slice (or ball rather) of ice cream heaven in this delicious cereal ice cream ball recipe.

Gather these materials:

How to make this recipe:

Step 1: Getting started.

To kick things off, you’ll need a tray and wax paper to place your cereal ice cream balls on. This will prevent them from sticking to the tray later on. Then grab your handy dandy ice cream scooper and get to work!

Step 2: Preparing your cereal ice cream balls.

You’ll start with whatever Perry’s ice cream flavor you enjoy indulging in. For this recipe, we used our Strawberry flavor. Begin scooping and shaping the ice cream into balls about 2 inches in diameter. Then, you’ll want to quickly roll them in your favorite fruity cereal until well coated to ensure they don’t melt!

Step 3: Freeze, top, and enjoy!

Place your tasty treats on the tray you prepared previously and freeze until firm. This ensures your cereal ice cream balls maintain their shape and prevents you from ending up with ice cream cereal soup (although that does sound delicious, too, now that we’ve thought about it). Once you’ve allowed them to freeze, add a little extra goodness to your ice cream cereal balls by topping them with strawberry syrup for an ooey, gooey garnish, and thank us later!

Keep them in your freezer for a little dose of sweetness on the go, or bring them to your next family party for a sweet treat your loved ones can enjoy with you!

Taco Tuesday just got a whole lot sweeter! While it’s not your typical Mexican cuisine (think ice cream sundaes with a little extra good stuff), this simple and delicious ice cream waffle taco recipe will have everyone asking for more the next time you’re on dessert duty.

All you’ll need is frozen waffles, your favorite Perry’s ice cream flavor (we chose vanilla for this recipe), and whichever toppings you’re feeling that day, and you have an upgraded and customizable dessert experience you’ll love.

To top things off, we added whipped cream (of course), sprinkles, chocolate syrup, and cherries.

Ice Cream Waffle Taco

What you’ll need for your ice cream waffle taco:

Instructions:

Step 1: Lay the groundwork and prepare your shells.

Allow waffles to thaw to room temperature before arranging them in a 9×13 baking dish. This will allow you to shape your waffles and give them a “hard shell” look similar to a taco.

Step 2: Fill & freeze your tacos.

Once your waffle shells are arranged, add 1-2 scoops of Perry’s Vanilla to each waffle. Then top with a delicious chocolate syrup and place your baking dish in the freezer. You’ll want to freeze your tacos for about 10 minutes.

Step 3: Add your toppings and enjoy!

Once your taco shells are firm from the freezer, it’s time for the fun step! Top each taco with whipped cream, sprinkles, a cherry, and whatever additional good stuff you decide. After that, the part you’ve been waiting for has arrived—serve, taste, and enjoy your delicious masterpiece!

Want to take the recipe a step further? Make your own waffles using a waffle iron for a little hint of homemade. Taking the ice cream waffle taco to-go? Store them in the freezer until you’re ready to unveil!

And there you have it! In just three simple steps, you have an easy, unique, and crowd-pleasing dessert option.

You’ve heard of banana bread, zucchini bread, and pumpkin bread—but have you heard of ice cream bread?! We’ve seen it all over TikTok  (if it’s on TikTok, we have to try it, right?), and if it has ice cream as a main ingredient, we’re willing to try anything!

We know it sounds unbelievable, but using only ice cream and self-rising flour, you can make a delicious loaf of bread with your favorite Perry’s Ice Cream flavor. Ready to take your love of ice cream to a whole new level? Get baking and try this super simple, two-ingredient ice cream bread recipe!

The best part about this recipe (besides the fact that it includes our favorite food group)? The versatility! You can use any of our delicious ice cream flavors, with whatever toppings your heart desires, including chocolate chips, fruits, or nuts, to truly make it your own.

Ice Cream Bread Recipe

What you’ll need from the kitchen:

  • A loaf pan
  • A spatula
  • A cooling rack (optional)

Grocery list items:

How to make your ice cream bread:

  • Mix 2 cups of the melted Banana Graham ice cream with 1 1/2 cups of self-rising flour and stir until combined and smooth
  • Pour ice cream bread batter into a lightly greased loaf pan
  • Top with sprinkles (optional)
  • Bake at 350 degrees F for 40-45 mins
  • Serve & enjoy!

Additional flavor suggestions:

Helpful tips:

  • Use full-fat ice cream (not fat-free or reduced sugar) for best results.
  • To avoid lumps in your batter, ensure the ice cream is completely melted before combining it with the self-rising flour.
  • If you don’t have self-rising flour, you can make your own using 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder, and 1/4 teaspoon salt for every cup of self-rising flour needed.
  • Avoid adding liquid-based mix-ins, as it may affect the texture of your loaf.
  • Add icing on the top for an impressive finish to give it a beautiful glazed look.

Do you love an ice cream sundae as much as we do? One of the best things about a sundae is that you can customize it to make it all your own! From choosing your favorite sauces, toppings and even ice cream flavors, the options are truly endless (and delicious!).

We put a spin on the classic ice cream sundae to make it, well, fancy! In this recipe, we used Madagascar Vanilla as the base—extra indulgent Madagascar vanilla ice cream with a hint of sea salt. This flavor pairs perfectly with the wonderfully sweet taste of strawberry sauce, layered throughout.

To top things off, we added whipped cream (of course), sprinkles and a cherry. Brightly colored lollipops and a sparkler complete this creation, because there’s no such thing as a sundae that’s too overdressed.

Ready to make your own fancy ice cream sundae? Let’s get creating!

fancy ice cream sundae

Ingredients:

  • 1 pint of Madagascar Vanilla Ice Cream
  • 1 jar of strawberry topping
  • Whipped cream
  • Sprinkles
  • Cherries
  • Lollipops, candies, nuts, cookies—any topping your heart desires!
  • Optional: A sparkler for a dazzling finishing touch

Instructions:

Step 1: Prepare your dish

Grab a clear, tall sundae dish that will show off the layers of your fancy ice cream sundae! Add about a tablespoon of strawberry topping to the bottom of your dish.

Step 2: Time to layer

Add a generous amount of Madagascar Vanilla ice cream and continue to layer ice cream and strawberry topping until your sundae glass is filled. Be sure to add a healthy scoop to the top of your glass (because the more ice cream, the better, right?).

Step 3: Top it off

Top your ice cream with whipped cream, sprinkles and a cherry. Here comes the fun part! You can add lollipops, candies, nuts, cookies—whatever your favorite toppings are to give your fancy ice cream sundae your own creative spin! Add a sparkler to make it extra adventurous!
